10a 250w instead of 16a 250w and 13a 250.

Hii i just bought got a rig from my friend.the power adapter the display the and cpu uses wont fit in my sockets.the ratings are 16a 250w for the cpu and 13a 250w for the display.can i use my old cables which are both rated 10a 250w to power it just for 4 to 5 hours once after whcih ill probably get some new adapters.the display is 24 inches and the cpu is 7700 i7 and 1070 8gig.an ssd and 16 gigs of ram.
