Hi all,

While disconnecting the USB 3.0 header cable from my motherboard, one of the pins came clean off.

The board is an Asus Z270i https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/ROG-Strix-Z270I-Gaming/
The pin came clean off as in there is no remains of the pin protruding from the board.
All USB ports on the board are no longer functioning as they are no longer detected within Windows.

The specific pin that has been removed is the GND pin.

I have basic soldering skills - can anyone give me any advice on how to get my board repaired?

Thank you for reading

I doubt that it's a cause of all USB ports not working, at worst it would disable only one USB3 connector and if nothing is connected to it there would be no repercussions to any other port. USB2 and USB3 controllers and their power supplies are not same.
