Hi Guys, I have a few computers in my home, a router, etc. All I protected with a surge protector. One is protected with a UPS.
Do surge protectors work? Is there a cheaper alternative to a UPS? It has worked really well through numerous storms, but it's pricey and I'd need several to cover the router, other PCs, etc.
My power goes out and I have brown outs regularly. I had one storm take out a system that was on and my router.
Any help is appreciated.
