Hi,
I had a g2 750 EVGA PSU that died so while it's gone for RMA I was going to pick up another PSU for a back up and use it but they only have a g2 650 so my question is will the cables in my case from the 750 fit the 650?

I am pretty certain EVGA is standard across each generation (I assume a G1 won't fit the G2, otherwise cable mod wouldnt have two sepearate catagories). I say this because I have an EVGA 650 Gold in one of my rigs. Interestingly enough, those cables also fit a random Cougar PSU I have to mine with. No idea why that could possibly be the case, but it is.

Yeah I looked on a site with custom cables and it listed all of the g2s as compatible. Now I can just plug in my cables and I am good to go when I get it. Having an extra PSU around will make me want to build another computer though.☺ Thanks again.

Oh I know-get too many parts and suddenly a new build materializes. I had extra parts and wound up building a mining rig. Coincedentally, not a single one of those old parts actually is part of that rig now

Or worse, you can perform first class vandalisim on a school computer and cram a GTX 680 I had laying around into a Dell Precision T1650. You know it is a good upgrade when the install requires you to relocate the hard drive to below the CD/DVD burner with screws you scavenged and a little adhesive tape :pt1cable: For the record, when Dell says it will only fit a 8 inch card, you can fit a 12 inch one. Who knew.

Curiously, the CD burner seems to no longer be connected. I wonder why.
