So I bought a 450w power supply, but my GPU or other parts dont need it. Will my PC run better if i install it even if it doesnt need it?

Solution
Efficiently isn't the right word. You'd be lowering efficiency with a psu that is too big. Too small and it's unstable. With enough power, it would just run normal as it's supposed to. You can't have too much as it only takes what it needs.

It would make no difference. Although if you have a bad quality psu, you'd want to be safer with something that won't make fireworks.
What do you mean by, "my GPU or other parts don't need it"? Getting more power than your PC needs doesn't improve performance, but providing every part of your PC with sufficient power will make your hardware run efficiently.
