New Build Wont Turn On

New Build Wont Boot Nothing Turns On

I just build my computer and it wont turn on. I did check the plugs, the psu switch, and the pins. I even tried to start via a screw driver, and it did not turn on. I am afraid it is my mobo or my PSU.

I did check the QVL and my ram is not on there though, would that make it not boot?

make sure the mb is sitting on the 8-9 standoff pins and not shorting out to the mb tray. also check that the io shield not shorting the mb out. if there still no post and the standoffs were used. pull the gpu and use one ram stick see if you can get a post out of the mb if there no post pull the mb see if it posts on top of the mb box t orule out a dead short in the case.

Tomorrow, I will test the PSU. Then if that works, I will go from there. Also, could it be that my memeory is not on the QVL list for my mobo?

most mb vendors cant test all the ram that out there. also ram vendor keep changing there ram models. most new ram there only 3 vendors that make the chips for ram sticks. so it hard today not to get a ram stick to post.
