Are these two AC/DC Adapters interchangeable?

I have two different AC/DC Adapters from two similar monitors. The black one is the one that came with the monitor I'm trying to power. The grey one is from a different monitor. Will the grey one work fine with the monitor in question?

I don't think so, the gray one is 1 Amp less than the black one. the black monitor uses more power and gray cannot provide it.

Check the power rating on the monitor itself. It might need less than 4Amps.

Otherwise - do not try, you risk to start a fire!

Plug it in, and keep an eye (and an arm) over the power brick for a while. Run something intensive on the monitor - a lot of white, for example. And until you find proper replacement, don't leave it plugged in unless supervised.
