i've got a 7700k that when gaming goes up to 65-75 degrees celcius. is this safe even when gaming for a 4-5 hours straight? thanks

As long as the CPU stays at those temps you should be fine. Although if it get around 80 degrees Celsius you should start to worry. Personally I keep my CPU at 65-70 ish degrees, just to be sure absolutely nothing will happen to it. But in general about 70-75 degrees is still perfectly fine.
