Hey guys,
A bit of a background, I started mining on my GPU around 2 weeks ago. That's why I have suspicion it's the GPU making the noise, but I'm not quite sure.

DROPBOX LINK TO THE VIDEO

The thing is, it's acting a little weird. I tried to max the speed of fans on GPU, the sound didn't change. I tried to stop all the fans, it didn't change. It doesn't seem to be dependant on temperature either. When it's mining GPU is around 62°C, when idle it's around 50°C.

The frequency of the noise is not the same everytime. In the video it's quite frequent (let's say around 4 "noise hits" per second), however if I suddenly stop the PC "load" (for example stop the mining), it doesn't stop immediately. It takes like 15 minutes of slowing down and even then when PC is idle, it can be heard sometimes, but much less frequent and with just one "noise hit" (don't know how else to call it :) ).

Anybody got any ideas or heard something similar? Maybe it could be PSU and not the GPU? It does seem to be happening more with higher performance and less with lower performance, but that's like the only thing I got so far ..

It might be your HDD, that are faulty.
If you have on old HDD and not SSD.

Old HDD has a cd plate inside that are spinning. This might get loose over time and make a strange sound. I know, it happend to me.
