Does GPU re-heat solve overheating problem or worsen it?

Hello! I'm planning to take my Gigabyte GTX 560 to a technician that does reheating through an infrared machine. My gpu's load temperature goes through 100C and idle load of 50-60C. The service fee is only 6$(300PHP).I haven't experienced any crashes or bsod. I want to extend the lifespan of gpu so I'm planning to avail the service. Since I already tried cleaning the heatsink and fan replacing thermal paste. I'm worried that the process might worsen the overheating problem. Any advices would be appreciated. Thanks!

Reheating? So is he basically putting it in a oven?

You could just spend the $6 on buying another fan to blow at the card.

Reheating is a short term solution, when there are micro-cracks between chips and pcb.
You absolutely do not need that.

100C under load is too high. Are fans working properly? They might be dead, then you need to replace them.
Increase airflow inside your case or get a better case.

The fans may be working fine but the paste is not working fine on the heatsink the fans are blowing on. You don't have a "reflow" needing issue.

I already replaced the die thermal paste I did the pea technique with Deepcool Z5. I didn't replace the thermal pad for the vrms.

If you did everything right, then there should be no such temperatures.
May be malfunctioning temperature sensor?

Is it really that hot? Can you try touching heatpipes of graphics card cooler with your finger?
What is room temperature there?

I can barely touch the heatpipes. Room temperature is around 30-33C I live in the Philippines. I'm very worried if the card continues to get to 100C. The following are my temp in load

Google Chrome 55-65C
Dota 2 Stable at 100C
Payday2 Stable at 100C
Gigantic 70-85

Idle load 40-50C

I don't want to downclock though. Max Temp is now 98C because its raining for about 2 weeks on my place so the ambient temp is slightly cooler. Completely Idle temp is around 40-48. While Downloading or opening a browser(google chrome) temp is around 55-68C and while running games directly rose to 98C.
