Will a i7 7700k bottleneck gigabyte r9 390 gaming

Solution
Hate to say this OP, but you really should try and do some research before you start throwing out terms that (I suspect) you do not really understand. If you understood that "bottlenecking" in terms of PC hardware refers to reaching a point where the performance of (usually) one component restrains the performance of another component due to its inability to process data quickly enough, then you'd know right away that a faster processor obviously will NOT create any bottleneck situation that you were not already experiencing on your current, lower-end processor.

Forgot to mention B150. Same deal make sure your current bios supports kaby lake. It should say revision you have in the bios somewhere, then just go to your mobo manufacturers site and make sure that revision supports kaby lake.

Keep in mind that Intel should be launching their 6-core Coffee Lake CPUs soon. The 6-core, 12-thread 8700k likely won't cost much more than the 7700k, while offering 50% more cores and threads, and the 6-core, 6-thread 8600k will likely offer similar or better performance to a 7700k, at a lower price point. Intel will be officially announcing these chips in just a few days and has already released most details about them, aside from pricing...
