Very unlikely, prebuilt pc's like that are designed in tandem when it comes to cases, psu's and mobo's. Its really not recommended, nor would it likely fit

So, you have the HP 6005PRO. You want to take its internals sans the proprietary PSU and install that in an appropriate case? The PSU can handle the card. I unfortunately have my doubts about the motherboard.

Can you download, install and run https://www.piriform.com/speccy/download When it is running locate Motherboard and copy and paste it's full name into your response. Is it 531966‑001 HP? If you can't see it all you can click on Motherboard, within that summary page and find its full name over there.

Yes, it's perfectly okay. You could use a 1K PSU with a SFF or m-itx board without issues. The size of the board really doesn't matter. What matters are its connectors. I am not seeing a 20 or 20+4 pin connector on that HP board. I am not 100% positive about the motherboard's model number so I need more info..

Does it look like https://www.ebay.com/i/131932712641?chn=ps&dispItem=1 ? What it's lacking is this connection .

HP and Dell are notorious for using proprietary hardware. Think you are going to buy an EVGA power supply and use it with this board? Nope. We made special connectors that mainstream PSUs lack and they're patented. Makes them money. Our PSUs are also shaped differently. We will make it as difficult as possible to use something other than our hardware.

Please don't confuse 20+4 with a 4 pin connector. One is for the CPU and the other is to generally power the board. That HP board is the wrongester than wrong foundation for a budget PC. Perfect if you want a pretty roadblock. Not so nice if you want to slowly grow(up[grade) as time goes by.

Sorry. You said 4 pin connector. I never said that.

Suffice to say, that board will not accept that PSU.

    P.S. I use that PSU.
