Micro Soft detected on my laptop PC that some os files are corrupted. I am hoping to find an online fix to repair the OS files. My laptop came with Windows 8.1 Pro already installed. I do not have a Windows reinstall CD-ROM or any other software. Micro Soft Answer Desk techs tell me that one can do a system repair without losing personal files and documents. I have searched the internet but have not found how or where to perform a System Repair.
My computer boots up normally but does crazy things, little annoying things and does not always cooperate with me and my fingers.
Is there any manner that will repair the corrupted system files...with simple and clear instructions for a person that is NOT a computer whiz?
