So I'm getting a horrible buzzing type noise from my gpu area. It starts anytime I go over 60fps in a game or anytime I have my 2nd monitor plugged in and am playing a game. It seems to be coming from the gpu bit I'm not 100% sure on that atm. At the same time it occurs, my gpu gets increasingly hotter than when the noise isn't there.

I can't make a video with enough of the sound but I found someone elses who has the exact same sound (possibly from different area):

I've already got a replacement psu btw.

Build is:

Ryzen 1700
Stock Cooler
MSI Tomahawk B350 Arctic
Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1080
Evga 650w G2 Gold

Any help is appreciated as I am at ny wits end with this atm :'(

Well my Solution is to check if the is GPU's Fan is stuck or have some dust in it or if your GPU has heatpipes (some high-end GPUs have it) Maybe something is blocking the heatpipe like some dust or something else so i hope this helps if no i don't have any other solution but emm yeah i hope this helps

It's not connected to the fans I'm afraid. And my gpu does have heatpipes so i might have to look at that. But would that really cause an electrical buzzing sound?

And a lot of people say it's coil whine but it's less of a whine and more a buzz like an electrical issue. And should I really be getting that bad coil whine on such an expensive card? I get coil whine at 500fps but at 70? Seems very odd to me. And surely a £500 gpu should handle dual monitors without issues?
