I think this is their current build, that they are planning to upgrade from, not what they are looking to upgrade to.

If you're continuing to use your existing graphics card, You should be able to get an overclockable quad-core Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, a B350 motherboard and 8GB of DDR4-3000 memory within that price range. Or wait a little bit and see what the next generation of quad-core Intel i3 processors are like, since Intel should be officially announcing them (and presumably their pricing and release date) within the next few days.

But that's a dual core. Doesn't that make it slower?

@madmat30 no videocard hehe additional $60 for gtx 750 ti, and harley check the benchmarks dude its dualcore but its hyperthreaded so the os sees it as four virtual cores very well optimized for many new games and very future proof still the reigning budget king
