hey all,

i have a gtx 1070 8gb memory and it says its vr ready. is my cpu, a pentium g4560 strong enough for VR?

Solution
Well it's likely your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU somewhat (possibly not in some games where the CPU isn't emphasized). Check out this thread for more info on that, it doesn't list your Pentium specifically but notes that slightly stronger i3s bottleneck the 1070.

That being said, you can probably do VR with mixed results and heavily dependent on what title you're running (especially the CPU demand of said title). I just wouldn't spend $400+ on any VR equipment before first upgrading your CPU, which remember is a ~$65 CPU.
