I am planning a Ryzen 5 1600 build in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering ***which AB350 motherboard has great sound***. Whilst, still being of excellent quality and a reliable motherboard. I will be overclocking the cpu to 3.8 to 4.0, single gpu only.
I have spent a few hours googling and it's hard to get a straight answer on mobo audio, some people say it's not just the audio codec (eg ALC 892 or 1220) but also the electronic components that support it. Other people say that unless you are an audiophile you won't notice the difference between older and newer audio codecs.
I would like something like the Asrock AB350m pro 4, but it's only got ALC892 (it does have ELNA caps tho).
I use nice headphones for both music and gaming.
I don't want a sound card.
Any help or links to pro reviews greatly appreciated.
