pc booted but it doesent work

Hey i builded my first pc and i looked so everything went right i have gtx 1050 ti and g4560 pentium so my pc boots but it doesent work my monitor doesent work my mouse and my keyboard i got VGA monitor and i cant plug my monitor to my graphics card is that the reason its not working? because only the motherboard has VGA adapter so i put in there but it doesent work do i need to buy vga to hdmi adapter and then stick it to the graphics card?

The 1050 Ti has no analog (VGA being analog) support at all so yes you will need an active converter to convert one of the ports to VGA.
Be sure it says "active"
They do make cheap passive converters but those aren't for use with a display.
