I still have a fx6300. Trying to make the most out of it before i upgrade. I have it currently overclocked to 3.7ghz(i have stock cooler and cheapest motherboard)

Would it be better to leave it stock with turbo on or have all cores at 3.7ghz? or something else without buying anything.

all i am doing is gaming. arma3 gta5 bf1 mostly.

Solution
Overclock is better as turbo can take some time to kick in, it may take only micro seconds but it can cause stutter while it's kicking in. On the other hand, only higher OC can produce consistent results and that mostly requires an aftermarket cooler and appropriate MB. Also, not all programs/games can activate turbo function properly and may not even use it.
