In looking for a reliable and durable mobile with good cameras and good battery life.

I was a bit intrigued about getting OnePlus5 but after reading some interviews and news, I decided it's not worth the price.

What other brands and models would you recommend for the purpose of mobile photography and some light multitasking (switching between 3-4 messeng apps without terminating the processes and stuff like that)?

Honestly... I have the OnePlus 3, having come from google Nexus devices, and I have to say that it's the best phone I've ever used, and still performs perfectly when it comes to multitasking and such.

The reason I was drawn to it was the amount of ram that it has; I typically leave 30+ tabs open in my browser on top of multitasking, and this phone can do that without sweating.

However... I'm not a photography nerd, so I can't speak to that end, other than, "It's better than a potato." If you're looking for a phone that's actually going to be great at photography, you probably need to find review sites / a youtube channel that focuses on that aspect of phone reviews in particular.
