Hi. I am planning to upgrade my laptop. I am trying not to spend so much for this. Someone, please state what specs are needed for smooth (30FPS) experience of Minecraft Shaderpacks.
Thank You!

for shaders you need a strong i3 or a high clockspeed i5. also your gpu is crap now id say you have to buy a new laptop. for minecraft shaders the desktop equivalent is a 750 ti to an optimal gpu. 30fps on a light pack is achievable on a decent laptop with kinda crappy specs (60fps normal probably can do 30shaders) but those packs suck. for minecraft shaders i tend to focus on a shader pack like seus medium as that is a good benchmark. now seus extreme needs a gtx 970+ to run a full 60fps so we will focus on seus medium which requires something equal to that of a 1050/950 so id say we should shoot for...

Actually I am asking you, what are the minimum requirements to play Minecraft with Good Shaders with at least 30 FPS and above?

I would say around these specs (The CPU/Processor Makes the most difference because minecraft is CPU intensive)
8gb RAM

Intel Pentium G4560 $60USD (Around 100fps with shaders)

What Current Graphics Card do you have? You may need to upgrade or may not need to.
(Just a tip you will most likely have a hard time upgrading a Laptop as you will need to buy a different type of cpu and other components) Also: You cant really find a cpu for less than this unless you go on Craiglist or Ebay and get a used one.

what shaderpacks? some light shaderpacks run fine on my old pc which has a r7 250 but then others are intensive that my 1070 struggles to keep a stable 60.
minecraft itself if cpu based and only uses 1 or two cores (two with optifine) now i think the best build for ONLY minecraft is a i3 cpu of some kind or a high clock speed i5 as they both have strong single and dual core performance to keep up with what you need. then id say for a gpu a 1050 or 1060 3gb is good unless you intend to run shaders with 512 bit texture packs (if so go 6gb 1060)
as for ram 8gb is enough as you really only need 4 or 6 gb for a maxed minecraft experience (i tryed...32gb does not help)
given it is a laptop i dont know what is avalible for you to upgrade so can we have the specs?

Your entire computer. Nothing but the storage and RAM is upgradeable on most laptops.
