My system:
CPU: FX-8320 3.50Ghz
Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming
Graphics Card: MSI GTX 960 4GB
PSU: Thermaltake TR S 700W
RAM: TeamElite 4x4
CPU Fan: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo
So 2 days ago I noticed my system not running as fast as it used to. I run a stress test with Prime95 and my cpu was reaching only 39% usage!! It wouldn't go over 1.33GHz. I did a research and I ended up switching off the slow mode switch on the motherboard. Then, my cpu actually reached 100% when stress tested. So, did I do good? Or should I turn the switch back on? It seems that the only thing it did was to limit my cpu's power..
