Is my new Mobo dead or my PSU?

I bought a ASRock AB350 Pro4 the other day along with some new ram and a Ryzen 7 1700. All but the CPU have arrived and I had the system built, waiting to receive the CPU. Now, I tried powering it on this morning to see if it even worked and the board got no power. Nothing. the PSU is a Corsair CX750M and yes, everything is plugged in correctly. The front panel connectors from my case are also connected properly, as much as they can. My Power LED cable is for a 3 pin while the board only has 2 pin for it. Aside from that the PSU was working fine on my old build and even passed tests at a local computer store in my city before it went into this build.
One thing however, may have changed that. I was cleaning it the other day and a screw fell into the internal bit of the PSU. I got it out by shaking it a bit and that ended there. Did the screw falling in kill the PSU or did my board arrive dead? I can try to answer any questions as best I can as well if needed

Oh boy, I screwed myself over with ever getting a replacement too if it was this board. My SATA cable got stuck in the port and when I tried to get it out, it snapped a bit of plastic off the on board port. RIP me
