i think @1440p it depends on your car the game will Lag when it needs CPU rendering and the CPU is not perfectly match for the CPU it will bottleneck

On lightly threaded games at 1440, you *probably* won't have any issues. On a really CPU dependent game, or on a game that's heavily threaded.....you're going to have issues.
