Heya, firstly i want to clarify that yes I have read other similar threads but none of those helped me .
I have a HGST 500 GB Hdd and a WD Blue 1 TB Hdd along with a Toshiba 1 TB DT01ACA100 hdd. After getting my GPU replaced from 650Ti to R9 280x the toshiba hdd just randomly disconnects and doesn't even show in device manager. It does not reconnect either and the only way to make it connect is to either restart entire pc or (as my cabinet has space on top and i can access hdd from there) just remove its sata power and reconnect it and then 'scan for hardware changes' in device manager to bring it back. I have so far changed the SATA data cable and connected it to a different SATA port but nothing has solved it. I have installed win 7 on the toshiba as well, so i booted into it(at first it was infinite booting screen then a restart let me boot in after 3-4mins of waiting) and then let the pc idle out. After an hr of idling i came to check back but i was able to go into C:,even into control panel and device manager but as soon as i clicked on another partition on it windows explorer just froze. And in device manager when i clicked on toshiba it got stuck too. I saw an artilce and it said that we would see some error in event viewer with Wininit source and PID 1001 but in my event viewer there were only 'windows smartscreen' errors at 1001 and nothing more.

In HDTune software the hdd is healthy and i have run benchmarks too,it was 130MB/sec read and 80 MB/sec write . I also ran random access and quick error scan from it and no error was found. I also ran chkdsk and it didnt find anything wrong either. The hdd seems to be normal like always on touch and doesnt make any click sound too . Quite awkwardly it keeps running even after disconnecting from pc.

Recently my GPU died so i gave it for RMA and now I have gotten it back, meanwhile it was not here I was using a GTX 650Ti in my rig and at random times Overwatch just froze entirely for a sec or 2 and then continued . I thought it was my network acting up but now I got my 280x and that issue has gone off completely, the game isnt stored toshiba though but still i think its all related.

Could it be my motherboard that is faulty or some cable or is it the hdd ?
Oh and there is this Interface CRC error count for every hdd and it is the same for every hdd with 208. It has been there since a long time and i thought it was just normal nothing but maybe it isnt. I have changed wires to all hdds multiple times but no good. :) Thanks for replying if you do that is.Image for it :-

There is one more thing, i installed 2 delta 80mm server fans which are way too fast and connected them to the controller on the cabinet. Since my case only supported 120mm in front i somehow just used the mesh design to fit in these delta fans but they vibrate the entire system and the toshiba which is somewhat above them experiences the most vibrations. I controlled the vibrations by putting in some sponge between the fans and the case and even between hdd and the case and it did reduce it drastically but the hdd still gets those vibrations.

My specs :-
CPU - AMD FX-8350
GPU - Sapphier AMD R9 280x
PSU - Antec VP650p v2
Mobo - Gigabyte GA 970A DS3P
Ram - 8 GB Gskil + 4 GB *2 Corsair DDR3 1600mhz
Win10 entrepreneur edition 16xxx

Solution
run the long test it could pass short on but fail the other and this is from toshibe for there hdd I need a diagnosis tool of HDDs.

Toshiba does not provide any diagnosis tool for HDD for personal users.

Hey, its my toshiba thats giving the issue. Anyway I ran quick diagnostics using that software from WD and it passes, it also shows green ticks for everything in the S.M.A.R.T details for toshiba and the other hdds.

Just when I was about to run more tests I just moved the hdd further down the case and the vibrations dont reach there apparently. The hdd has stopped dc'ing permanently and all 3 hdds are working fine now :) So the fix to this issue does lie in connectors, just replacing connectors does not always let a random dc'ing hdd stop doing that so one has to move the hdd around in the case to a different more stable location .

Well the toshiba wasn't in any rack, inside the cd/dvd drive bay the bottom part has a mounting place for hdd with just the 2 holders of metal extended from the bay to hold it with screws. While at the most bottom there is proper hdd bay with rack for each hdd and that is where other hdds were. I just swapped the wd with toshiba in place and that solved it. Idk if it is toshiba that makes these fragile hdds or just mine is like that because wd is able to work fine there. Toshiba must be bad for servers if the former is true then huh.My case is deepcool Dukase V3 btw.

Well the bottom part of the cd bay does have reduced space meant specifcally for a hdd. But unlike a proper hdd bay the hdd has to stick to the bare metal of the case which directly transfers vibrations . And hence the issue was there.
