So today I was playing World Of Warcraft when randomly my computer just shut off and said that there was a power surge, it also said something about ASUS anti surge thingy. I have had my computer for over 2 years now and this has never happened to me. I am using a Corsair 550W VS PSU and never had problems with it. My setup is:
Intel i5 4460@3.2ghz processor
Zotac GTX 970 video card
16GB Ram
Asus h81m-plus motherboard
Like I have said this has never happened to me during the time I have had the pc so it was very weird. When I play games like WoW the computer does get a little hot but not to the point where it overheats. I don't know if my PSU is busted or that the graphics card is panicking and making it go over the 550 watts.
If anyone can help me with this I will really appreciate it, thanks.
