Best AMD graphics card for 144+ fps ultra settings gaming at 1080p?

I am looking to play mainly e-Sports and casual games as well as trying out a few AAA titles. I have a FreeSync 144hz 1080p gaming monitor so I would ideally like a GPU capable of playing the lighter games at all the highest settings consistently at 144 fps+ at 1080p. I'm currently looking at an RX 580 4GB and its MSRP of around $250 is probably around the highest I will be able to pay just for the graphics card. Thanks, all help is appreciated!

If that is what you can afford then their no real reason to even answer your question.
Buy that card and enjoy your PC. It will run every game just fine @1080p not all maxed out and get 60 FPS and certainly not all at 144FPS but is a good card.
The 8gb version is no big deal my 980 has 4GB and I use a 1440p monitor and have never had any problems.

not all games could reach above 100+ fps, also not all graphics card can do that much fps. it is easily can be reached in csgo for sure, but not sure about other games. also 144hz doesnt mean 144 fps. i recommend to get the 8gb rx580 version probably for some futureproofing
