Hi so I just recently got into computers (so I am not too experienced) and am hoping to buy parts to build a nice gaming computer. I would like to know if the following parts are able to work well together when building.
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: MSI Computer GeForce GTX 1060 GDDR5 (GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G)
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B350-Plus AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 USB 3.1 ATX B350
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz CL15 Dual-Channel
Storage (HDD): Western Digital 1TB 3.5" 7200 RPM SATA III 64MB Cache Desktop Hard Drive (Blue)
PSU: EVGA 550 N1, 550W, Power Supply 100-N1-0550-L1
Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-02 Mid Tower Gaming Case (CC-9011051-WW) OR Rosewill Challenger S Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Notes: I will also get a utechsmart saturn keyboard (already have a mouse). I am trying to stay under $1400 (CAD). I also already got windows 10 education. Will probably follow along a youtube video when trying to build the pc.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Specs look good buddy :) And the PSU looks good for that setup. EVGA is a quality brand for PSU. Have had mine for quite some time now. Wattage looks good and should power it just fine. The only brand or PSU i get is Corsair or EVGA. Love the RYZENS too.

Thats really not an issue. As long as you have a brand name PSU your system will be fine. You dont need a $100 power supply for a build. Evga is a evga. Corsair is a corsiar. Just because one is $50 and ones $100 doesnt mean the $50 wont do you any good. I have had a Evga 430W for a long time and it has never failed me. It was like $30 at the time.

When it fails though , i may take your motherboard, cpu , etc with it .... Yes EVGA is EVGA but not all power supplies are built with the same materials ...I didnt say that PSs that costs 50$ are bad, but there are better units than N1 at this price range ....
