Hello. I dont have a big variety of good laptops on the retailers from my country and i wouldnt risk my buck buying from abroad so i've been watching benchmarks with laptops with similar specs on laptops ive seen on those retailers.
What would u say of this laptop price/performance ?

SPECS: i5-6300HQ, GTX 950m 2GB DDR5, 4GB RAM DDR4, 1TB 7200 RPM,etc

It costs around $615 / 520EUR.

I will also buy another 4GB DDR4 stick along with the laptop, so i can have 8GB DDR4 on it.

Would it be worth it? I really dont wanna go over the current budget... I already got a desktop at home. I need this laptop to play casual games, do schoolwork and some multimedia stuff on it from time to time.

I don't know about that particular laptop, but its specs look good to me. I don't know about price to performance, but its performance will be good.

You don't want a thick, heavy, gaming laptop that you have to lug across campus. This one looks like a decent size and weight.

The processor and graphics card are great for school work. The RAM is lacking, but 8GB should be fine.

My laptop for school has an i5-3210m. I upgraded to 16GB RAM and upgraded the HDD to a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB. It's now 4 years old, and I just bought another battery for it.

If you take care of it, that laptop should be great for you. I don't know how it compares to other laptops around its price, so I can't say if it's a good buy or not, but it is a great...
