Hello, dear humans.
I am having a major issue that i cannot seem to fix with my rig and Dell S2716DG monitor.

An important thing to know is, my little brother cut up my DisplayPort cable, so I switched to an HDMI until I can get my hand onto a new one.
The issue I am having is: the monitor and pc wont connect. I tried both HDMI ports on the Motherboard and the one on the Graphics card but neither worked. It just goes to power saving mode everytime. Regarding the PC itself, I think everything should work, since all the lights go on and everything, I have also checked if my GPU and RAM are well seated. I am not a tech expert, so I have turned to you people to help me with my issue. All answers and potenital solutions are apreciated.
