So I am looking to build a computer. I have done a TON of research and the thing that always gets me are if these articles are biased and/or paid to get a response type stuff. So I have my thoughts but want "users" thoughts.

So my budget i 2k to 3k.. I am older and DO NOT like playing on smaller monitors. Its hard for me to see. So I have always gamed on my TV (65 inches). Now to start this will be on a really nice Samung 65 inch TV.. un60f8000bfxza... Now I only plan on using this until Black Friday at which time I will buy a 4k tv to game on.. Whatever has the lowest input lag w/ HDR..

I would like a good gaming keyboard and headset.. Just to see peoples thoughts on what they like.. I have a couple in mind already

Thanks for any help you can provide!!!

Considering your playing on a 1080P HDTV you really don't need to spend that much on a system, even this one is a bit overkill for your needs.

If you do want the best though and for longevity I would swap out the 1080 for the ti version as its faster.

This would be my budget recommendation.

Thanks for the response!! Great info.. Only thing I would say is I will only be playing on the 1080 for a couple months and switching to a 65 inch 4k... Will this setup above work for that in 4k?

Thanks so much for taking your time

Nice build! Depending on the configuration of his living room, may want to consider wireless keyboard, headphones etc.
