Good afternoon,
My computer randomly starting crashing while gaming about a week ago. I play Pubg and Overwatch. I took it to geek squad and they couldnt figure it out either. They said when they stress tested everything it all looked normal. Only thing that look a little off was the temp of my gpu (68-70) but they said that isnt to bad to cause a pc to restart. I played with it a little more and was unable to fix the problem because we couldnt find the problem. So i bought a New gpu [ Msi gforce gtx 1080 ] I played for a few hours and it started to shut down and or restart again. This only happens while gaming which is why I believe it has something to do with my graphics cards but i cannot figure it out. Maybe it is overheating but why would 2 different gpus be overheating? This entire build is roughly 4 months old
storage- 960 evo
Mother board - Strix Z270E gaming
Ram - 32gs ddr4 3200 vengeance lpx
corsair h1001 v2 liquid cooler
asus geforce gtx1060 6g - upgraded to msi geforce gtx 1080
cpu - i7 7700k
wiondows 10 64bit
Corsair RMx Series, RM850x, 850W, Fully Modular Power Supply,
Please help!
P.S. im not 100% sure if i am overclocked or not . my friend said i possibly am which is what might be causing my pc to crash but we cannot find any software that would be used to overclock it. It is possible I uninstalled the software because i did not know what is was.
