Hi, my network provider updated their systems a few a months ago and since then I've been having problems with my wifi connection. The day the technician installed the new router he used my computer as he was setting up the router. He named the wifi "WiFi 2". The connection was very slow and not reaching all the rooms in my house so I had to call and have the technician come resolve the issue. A second technician came out and installed a different router that would give off more signal and strength.. he name this "WiFi". WiFi is the current wireless connection in my house. WiFi 2 no longer shows on any computers or phones in my house, except my laptop. I only have wifi internet connection when my wifi says "WiFi 2". When is shows me connected to "WiFi" it says unidentified network and can't access the internet. Please help because this is frustrating.

Ok first, if your network provider supplies your router (and it sounds like it does), go to your provider's webpage, and find instructions on how to access that router through your browser. Typically you have to type in an address like 192.168.1.1 or some variation thereof. Then, in your router settings, first rename your network from the generic "wifi" to something you'll easily find and recognize. Second, in one of the submenus in your router settings, regarding your wireless connection, make sure both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections are named, and have the same password. Save the settings, then try to access the newly renamed connection from all your devices, and type in your password, to make sure the settings are saved.

Also, when your provider does a big update, it's good to cycle your modem and router once at least (meaning turn off power for 30 secs then turn on modem first, let it cycle up for a few minutes, then turn on router).
