Can i get some thoughts, ideas on my new build in gearing up for video recording (or even live streaming build)..

i plain to play games and have enough power to record/ stream videos. If i can stay under 1000 then cool.

my computer i have basic'ly 4-5 years old and i plain to just build in a new full case.

have not been staying updated with all the new computer parts and adds on like i used to. if someone can help me think of one.

Sorry dude you won't have enough not without either showing very poor quality streams AND / OR having very low FPS for that budget.
If you want to be the next "Twitch" star, you need to invest heavily, like near $2K if you plan to stream high quality video AND play in High Quality graphics / FPS. If you don't care about having any viewers just to show a couple friends or such, then your 'in the ball park' but again your quality of video OR game play will suffer.

I would go to Tomshardware.com and look at the articles, there is PLENTY of reviews of gear, complete setups and so on. Also Linus has a BUTTLOAD of vids on his Youtube channel to show off gear, and build setups. He walks you through and if you note the pricing and then performance you can find your 'middle ground' between price and expectations slam into reality.

Solution
While a good stream at 1080P 60Hz (that doesn't mean Ultra / High Graphics always over 60FPS) it should note, if your current system is a OEM computer, you could NOT move the Windows to the new rig, that would be a extra $179 on top of the price for a new copy of Windows (off the shelf). Further you need at LEAST a dual screen setup so your playing on one screen and monitoring the second OR invest in a UltraWide which all still gets an additional $200-400 depending on what sort of screen you want. Also need After Market CPU Cooler (not seen listed, which adds on another $30-100), you would want additional fans setup to cool the case (Another $30-50) as well as you need CPU Heat Paste ($10-40 depending on how much you get / quality level).

So that 1002 just jumped to at least 1500. Further if you make ANY mistake with any item (accidentally push the RAM in backwards, short the CPU, etc.) you have to fork over COMPLETELY for a new purchase of that part they won't RMA it because you broke it (Just warning). Your on your own when building, while plenty of nice videos / webpages talk about building your own PC, but still your on your own.

If your cool with all that, that is a start. If your more familiar with 'just buying' a console and not worry about all this technical stuff, then you might want to consider reviewing some of the Magazine out there for the adverts for Game System Prebuilts.

^ dude, u are scaring him away from building his own pc.
BTW, the ryzen 1600 comes with a decent cooler and you don't need such a heavy oc to obtain stable 60fps in 1080p ultra and stream with the above setup.
If u want 144hz gaming, then ur above said points are valid.
The spec 04 already has 1 fan in front. The max you need is 3 more fans. That will cost 35 bucks max.
The second screen is not really a necessary if you can stream ur live in TV. But that depends on the place where his pc and TV are. But yes, like you said, if he wants to live stream for real, a second screen is a must. But you can get a quality 60hz/75hz screen for 150-180 bucks and a normal screen for 90 bucks. So that total wouldn't cross over 300.

Not sure what your saying here, when people post "play games and have enough power to record/ stream videos." They mean they want to be all those stars on Twitch / youtube and play games and get 'free money' for playing. I don't know what your meaning "live in TV" unless your confusing and think OP is streaming games to his TV (ala Steam)

The second screen is mainly to monitor ur live and to manage comments and stuff. A smart TV with web browser is enough for that to an extent. But not a real solution. And the TV should be near by for easy access. This kinda tough. That's why u said a second screen is necessary if it's something serious.

Regarding having enough power to stream, meant just that. The above setup will give him consistent 60fps in 1080p and will multitask at the same time. That's y I Saud that. Or do you think otherwise?
