Hi everyone, I'm purchasing a Asus Strix B350-F, in my country, it cost only few bucks more than regular ATX B350 boards and It's a sweet looking board, however, I failed to find any mention of the board having Dual BIOS like Gigabyte provides in virtually of its boards. Given the nature of Ryzen and it's frequent BIOS updates, I'm kinda worried about messing up BIOS update and bricking my motherboard. In that case, will Asus replace the board or they have some fail safe that I'm not aware of?

Thanks.

with new mb first rule of bios flashing is dont use windows programs for bios updates. a lot of times your anti virus will kick in and cause a bad flash to happen. use mb bios updater in the bios to update the bios. on some asus mb they have hard wired bios recovery called usb flashback. you can google on how it works on you tube. the usb flashback all it needs is stand by power no cpu or ram to work.
That ASUS uses CrashFree BIOS 3 which is essentially a supposedly protected area of the BIOS that only boots and looks for a BIOS file on removable media.

The Gigabyte Dual-BIOS didn't always work either as I've had to lift a leg or short one on the primary chip before to get it to boot from the secondary. The "Dual-BIOS" models with two BIOSes on the same chip were pretty much useless. I would much rather have a socketed chip to allow for hot-swapping or use of an external programmer.
