So about a month ago i had thought that my 1060 ssc had stopped working only to later find out that it was some driver issues, in the meantime i had a 1050ti to use for the time that i had thought it had broke and i'm wondering if it would hurt to leave the 1050 in along with the 1060. Thanks!

Just in case you need any of my pc specs

Solution
Two things that are incorrect about the previous post.
You can use both cards in the same system, each card can be dedicated to run specific monitors.
Additionally, one card can be used to process PhysX for the primary card.

That being said, I dont recommend using both for either of these reasons.

For a single display, it won't work and you probably won't get any output display at all.
1. You need an SLI cable to let the cards communicate with each other.
2. The card will run at the slower cards speed, 1050Ti in this case. Also the Vid memory will be shared among the two. It won't add up.
3. 1050Ti doesn't support SLI
4. You need cards of the same GPU model (eg: 2x 1080Ti or 2x 1070s) though I have heard people get different models to work together.

The chances of you being able to run both video cards are slim if at all possible (unless you run multiple monitors). You will be simply wasting power (though ur PSU can handle it) if you keep it plugged in without SLI (which won't work either) and it powers up, giving out no display.

Wait without an SLI? I need to double check this info.
