This is my very first build and I'm having trouble figuring out the bios settings. I plan on playing games like witcher 3, skyrim, fallout4 ect. What basic settings do I need? Whats the min and max perforamce wise?

My set up:
Mobo: Asus Maximus IX Hero
CPU: i7 7700K
GPU: EVGA 1080 ftw2
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
HDD:WD 2TB
RAM:G SKill Ripjaws V 16GB
CPU Cooler: Kraken X62

Solution
1. intel cpu set the video setting primany display from auto to peg for ext video card. if you dont need onboard video set mult monitor to off. (i would leave it on if gpu fails you still have output from one gpu on).
2. set bios to efi and turn off legacy bios for speed.
3. after windows 10 is installed set bios to fast boot and download vendor windows tool to boot into bios.
4. turn off splash screen.
5. sata ports to achi.
6. depending on case fans change fan profile to slient mode.
7. cpu cooler min-max speed. if is has low spin speed you may have to lower the cpu fan warning.

I am not sure I understand. In the BIOS usually you setup 3 things.
1. Boot Sequence
2. XMP mode and clock frequency of your RAM
3. Processor overclocking.

If you need help deciding a motherboard, the answer would be different.
