Bios backup ASUS Sabertooth 990Fx R2.o

I need to back up the BIOS in my ASUS 990 fx R2.o and I can`t find out how, they tell you everything else, however I wont to have a copy of the bios in case of failure. I am running win 7 Pro, I called ASUS Tec Support the guy new less about it than I did after him telling me that I " Could Not " do it, I then read him the line in the ASUS Sabertooth manual about backing up the bios and he said " OH ". Do I just go on line and download the old version 1302 X64 to my downloads and save it to my USB drive in a Fat 32 and if I did how would I be able to verify the file. ASUS was unable to help me I am running AI Suite II Easy flash 2.0

your mb like my intel sabertooth has a usb flashback port on the back. the lower usb port is the port to reflash bios on the mb if it fails. all you need is standby power no cpu or ram.

download the last bios file and the bdrenamer. rename the bios file then put it on a fat32 formated usb stick. if the bios goes bad or you need to update it always us e the usb flashback port not the windows updater or you brick your mb.
