Amd Ryzen 1700 3.7 Voltage

Hello i want to overclock my amd ryzen 1700 from 3.0 ghz to 3.65 ghz but i dont know the amount voltage i should use

(I use stock cooler Wraith Spire RGB)

Roughly 1.3-1.35V depending on your chip. I would not want to exceed 1.35V if it were me but I know some OCers are going up to 1.4+ volts though that is usually for higher OCs. Make sure your temps stay low as well. Ideally 70C or less under full load though though some users will go as high as 85C. Some of temp/voltage is also your comfort level. The higher they are the faster your chip will wear out.

I'd check this out. Also You want to overclock via bios. You'll get the most stable OC with the lowest temps and voltages. This will take a lot of trial and error regardless of method though. Bios will just be a little more trial and error is all.

Thanks for the reply i found a thread were they say that 3.65 ghz and 1.25 volt stable is so i used that.

Yeah you want the lowest voltage you can get that is stable. I would tinker around and find it. I tried to give you a voltage that would work for sure. Always find the lowest stable voltage for an OC it gives you longer chip life, lower temps and less power consumption.

Should last years as long as you keep your temps low. I have my i7 3930K OC'd to 4.2 ghz with 1.28V with 70C under full load for 4 years now and expect another 4 years no problem. It's when you push into the 1.3-.4+ range and/or your temps are to high that you start seeing a chip that should last 10 years only live for 1-3 years (less if your unlucky).

my r7 1700 run at 3.7GHz too but i choose auto voltage, read your comment and I was worried because my voltage work at 1.192V. Am i wrong with this voltage my pc not restarting or somethink. If i a change to 1.3v is that good for me? (sry for bad english).
