Amd ryzen 1700 average temp

My amd ryzen 7 1700 runs at 3.65 Ghz and is 41 - 43 *C with only utorrent running is that normal?

That is an OK temp, I prefer lower personally but it's not end all kind of territory either. See if you can keep that temp or lower for a few hours straight under full load. If you can that is a step in the right direction. Also as stated earlier you want to lowest stable voltage you can find. This will help keep the temp down.

CPUz is not a good stress test but it is a start. You want to use something like AIDA64 or Prime95 for several hours without any crashing. If you crash raise your voltage. If it is stable and doesn't (say 8+ hours when you think you have the right voltage, less is ok for quick testing) crash then you would want to lower the voltage and stress test again until you find the lowest voltage you can pass the stress test with (as stated for several hours).

I am running prime95 now and it going up to 80 C At the ryzen master utility
