I bought my Sapphire RX 470 graphics card in caseking.de and received parcel on 12th August 2016. I was mostly playing Rainbow Six: Siege and nothing really else. It was great card for this title, it wasn't overclocked and I even locked fps to 90 to not overheat GPU. Then suddenly my card died at friday (18th August 2017) after half hour of gaming session. Screen turned black and computer stopped responding even to reset button, so I turned it off using power switch. After that I tried to turn on the computer and couldn't see bios logo. I got scared and for first I thought that could've been my motherboard (couldn't really believe it was graphics card, it's only one year old and my previous HD6950 is still working after five years). But I opened the case and noticed that GPU fans are not spinning, so I connected HDMI cable to motherboard's output and succesfully booted to Windows using Intel's internal GPU. Device manager shows RX 470 as disconnected device. The card has dual bios, tried switching it too, but nothing works beside card's LEDs. Tried another PCI-E slot and even plugged it on in another computer, doesn't show in device manager either.

Card is almost clean, not much dust on heatsink and PCB. I couldn't spot any sign of damage using flashlight but this card has backplate and I don't want to loose my warranty, so I'm not going to open it.

There is a chance I could RMA my graphics card?

And sorry for any grammar mistakes, english is not my native language.

RMA your card. I have a lot of contact with the AMD cards. I had rx 470's , 480's and 580's. All were garbage. Consumes a lot of power and there is a huge problem with the drivers till this day. AMD was made to be a second one. Send your card back and buy nvidia card as your next one. :)
