I have a desktop that i wasn't using for about 1 year because i moved and left it at my parents place. and about a week ago i went to pick it up.
When I tried to reconnect it to the monitor it used to work on it didn't display anything for some reason. i tried both HDMI and VGA ports on my graphics card and the motherboard HDMI port but nothing.
The computer seems to boot fine but the monitor doesn't seem to receive any signal. The GTX660 that's inside should work fine, i never dropped the computer or hit it. The only thing I did was to take out the HDD inside and use it on another computer, then wiped it and plugged it back in - but that shouldn't have any effect on the boot process. I mean it should boot even with a wiped drive.
Does anyone have any ideas?
