Hi to anyone reading this,

I have a problem with my JBL Cinema SB450 where it keeps turning off after +\- 5 minutes when using it in AUX mode.

I think it might have something to do with it not detecting that it is in use with my win7 PC. The bluetooth setting works perfectly and does not turn off by itself.

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? Thank you :)

It's just a guess but if the level going into the aux input is too high it might cause the soundbar to shut off?
Try turning the output down of the source and the volume of the soundbar up so you still hear the content at the same volume without overloading the input of the soundbar.
The soundbar may have be designed to shut down after 5 minutes if there is no signal on the aux input. It could be malfunctioning or the input level is so low that it's going off. Try the reverse of the above.
Otherwise contact JBL.

Thank you for the reply! I tested with the different sound levels, but it still turned off after a while. I do think that it has something to do with the signal on the aux input. I will test again tonight and let you know. :)

I have SB400 and my aux connection does the same. If left alone, it will also turn itself back on after 3-5 minutes. Only in aux mode, blue tooth never responds with any input power issues. Tried both increase and decreased input volumes, no solution. I am pursuing using Chromecast sound with aux input as ulternitive. Update will be posted if solution works.

Yes please keep me updated on what you find. I still have the same issue. Even though it works perfectly well sometimes, it still gives me problems. Thank you!
