Hi,
So I am looking forward to building a gaming PC that isn't too expensive and gives high performance as well.
Approximate Purchase Date: Next month
Budget Range: $800-$1300
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, watching videos, surfing the internet.
Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://www.msy.com.au/viconline/
https://www.centrecom.com.au/
Country: Australia
Parts Preferences: I would like to have an Intel CPU and a NVIDIA graphics card.
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: Would like a quiet PC with the case having a window and few LED lights.
Case that I have my eyes on at the moment is the Corsair Carbide SPEC-04 Black/Red (CC-9011107-WW) USB3.0 Mid Tower Case without PSU
Thanks for your time and effort. :)

Solution

I built the one with Ryzen just because it is cheaper and apparently has better performance than the i5. I just wanted an Intel CPU because a lot of people recommended it to me. So here is what I got PC build
good price/performance? i would suggest the Ryzen, but since u ask for intel too:

Ryzen:
R5 1600 / R7 1700
B350 mobo
GTX 1060 / RX 580
8 / 16 GB of DDR4-3000 (faster is better for ryzen)
EVGA G2 550w 80+ / S12II Evo 520 80+ / Super Flower Platinum king 550w 80+

Intel:
Intel i5 7600 / i7 7700 if u can afford it
B250 mobo
GTX 1060 / RX 580
8 / 16 GB of DDR4-2400 (or faster RAM if u prefer it, but not necessary)
same PSU as Ryzen build
