so i tried reinstalling my hitachi prius laptop using win7 bootable cd.pressing f2 then change the boot priority to cd/dvd. it went ok and almost completed the installation but it suddenly stop and the installation fails and it automatically prompt me to the manufacturers logo. i turn the pc off and reboot hoping it will repeat the installation process. but this time it hangs up to the manufacturers logo only. i tried pressing f2 but i can no longer enter the bios setup. a friend told me to remove the cmos battery for 10 min and i did but still not working. please help me what to do. i would really appreciate your help. thank u so much.

Solution
Were you trying to run the Windows setup because of some issue with the system? Maybe this same issue is what is also causing the issue with installing Windows again. Try with one RAM stick at a time if you have more than one, try with another RAM stick, try reseating the hard drive, try removing the drive and see if it will get to the BIOS at least.
