Hey dudes and dudettes,

I was shopping for a new "gaming laptop" since I so stupidly spilled coffee on my old one and rendered it completely useless (the cost of repair will exceed the cost of replacement). I was looking on eBay and found a steal for about $470. Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/302250769297

My old laptop had a better GPU (GeForce 940mx), but this new laptop has a better CPU and RAM.
Is this laptop good enough for moderate gaming? (Intensive Nintendo games on emulators, minecraft, and here is a bit of a stretch ARK: Survival Evolved)
Also what settings should these be run at (obviously I think ark will be low if not unplayable)

I am deciding on whether to buy it or not.

Thank you guys so much for your consideration!! :)

Judging by the games you want to play (other than minecraft), that laptop will do you no good. IMO, if you're gonna spend hundreds of bucks on a gaming laptop you might as well save up for a premium one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y4GZS9C/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=dav0d2-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B06Y4GZS9C&linkId=c923e824bb63e0549902d4558ced9a86 This one has a gtx 1060 and a beautiful IPS screen at $1000, you will NOT find a better deal unless you buy some sketchy Chinese brand with Chinese currency or find a used model on ebay. A 1060 will play ark at high settings 60 fps and a 7700hq will play every emulator (though it may struggle a bit with CEMU)
