Bios old update?

Hello, can it really be true that my newest bios version is only from 2016, i dont know my motherboard model, i looked inside of my pc, but it doesnt say any name or model on the motherboard.

i know my pc model is g11cb, so on the asus site the newest update for my bios is from 2016/03/30

can it be true the newest version is from 2016?

Yes, it's very possible. Complete desktop computers are not intended to be upgraded. Manufacturers want you to purchase a new computer rather than upgrade your current one. Additionally, while a motherboard can last you for years, support for said boards are often limited to just a couple years.
