I can get both, which one is better over the other? which one excels in what area over the other? how does each compare to the other? im a noob and have seen some forums and comparisons and I don't get why would in any subjet (which I have seen it do) the 670 would beat the 1050,how does that work?

Solution
Doing a search, I couldn't find any specs on the GTX670 that beat the 1050,if you could send to where you find the GTX670 beating the 1050 that'd be great.
The GTX 1050 is a more recent and more cheap technology, so it receives more updates from the drivers and more support (Dx12 for example) if you can get both, I don't see any reason to you get the GTX670.
About the 670 beating the 1050 in some stuff that's quite weird, send me the link where you saw that and I'll try to explain.
Links I've checked: (Brazilian Portuguese)

one that cheked was https://versus.com/en/msi-geforce-gtx-760-vs-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050

so I should get the 1050 no questions asked?

670 is a tier above the 1050. It's a little less than a 1050ti in performance. The 670 wins if performance is the main concern. It still gets support and is dx12 compatible.

That link compares a 760 not a 670. Also, you want to stay away from sites like that. You can't gauge real world performance with theoretical specs and other hardware specs can't be directly compared over different architectures.
