I changed from fx 4300 to fx 8350, gpu is gtx 1050 ti (ROG STRIX series).
Used to have like 150-200 fps in csgo, 40-45 (very low) on PUBG...
Now with FX-8350 i gain 40-70fps PUBG, but it drops from time to time... In CS:GO we r talking about different story, FPS goes from 400 to 19 and then doesnt go over 100 fps...
Specs:
Mobo: asus M5A78L-M/USB3
CPU: FX-8350
GPU: Asus ROG STRIX 1050 ti
Ram: Kingston HyperX Blue 2x4gb (1600 Mhz)
PSU: Coolermaster elite 500w
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 - 250gb

Can anyone help me out with this?

P.S. I tried everything in BIOS, driver settings (yes they r up-to-date), temps (all good) logical cores are all on (all 8 are working properly).... Help me please, im running out of ideas.... :'(

For just under $300 you could get a Ryzen 3, B350 motherboard, 8Gb ddr4 and a 520w Seasonic PSU. then just sell your old parts. Imho the Ryzen 3 is a better cpu than the 8350, and the Ryzen currently has a good upgrade path

The 8350 was supported on paper but problematic in the real world. I know Asrock actually removed the 125w cpus from the support list of some of their entry level board because of the throttling issues.

I thought about that MB might be the issue here. It was enough for fx 4300, but for 8350 it is not. :/

Sadly, but no, i got it 2 months ago, pc worked for 2 days then old GPU died (MSI R9 270x), and now i bought this 1050 ti and realized that im not able to play any games, not even near the experience i had with lower CPU (4300).
So i would have to stick for it now, for at least 6 months. :/
P.S. Im thinking on returning fx4300 until i get new mobo.. What do u think on that?

My budget right now remains TBD, first i need to find something suitable then decide if i want to spend money on it or not.
And ye, i thought about going back to 4300, cuz it takes 95W (instead of 125W that 8350 consumes) and it worked well before. I read on asus page for this mobo that it can support fx 8350, so i went for it, and they were not lying - it supports but throttles as a mofo xD
