I was checking for some updates on the drivers for my Toshiba Netbook and noticed in the Device manager list this Wireless driver is not present. The drivers listed from Toshiba seem to indicate there is supposed to be one. Should I just in stall this driver which I am not sure if it really is installed but does not show up in the Device manager? It has a version listed as 2.00.0013_00501 for the Realtek LAN wireless driver. The computer is a Toshiba Netbook NB255-N245.

If you are not connecting via WiFi, you can also goto the Device Manager and uninstall (but not delete) the current wifi adapter in the Network adapter section. Reboot and it will rediscover and reinstall the adapter. Check it after that.

Well now why did I not notice that I will certainly take look to see if there is an update tool. I was rethinking my question and there is wireless driver. It is the Atheros AR 9285 wireless adapter but I am thinking that is for connecting to a router with wireless. I was wondering if this Realtek LAN driver is for connecting to a WIFI or a network in a work place? Just because there is a Microsoft driver Virtual WiFi Miniport adapter. Thanks for the advice about the Update tool.
